This notice explains the planned Google Ads connection in GDF's private Stats application. It supplements GDF's website privacy notice. Global Digital Forensics controls the application and the records described here.

The Google Ads API connector is not active. The sections below describe its intended operation after required setup, authorization and activation.

Google authorization

An authorized administrator connects the selected GDF Google Ads account through Google's consent process. The requested permission is Google's broad Google Ads permission. The application restricts its requests to keyword ideas and historical keyword metrics for GDF's selected account. It does not use that permission to publish or change advertising, budgets, conversions, audiences, billing or account users.

Information accessed and stored

The application uses approved public service terms, approved public GDF page addresses and research settings such as country, language and historical period. Google may return suggested terms, combined variants, approximate search volumes, advertiser competition and bid ranges. Saved reports will include the request settings, account and source identifiers, retrieval dates, collection status and audit receipts.

When connected, the application stores the administrator's connection identity and an encrypted refresh credential so approved collections can continue without a browser remaining open. Temporary sign-in security records help verify and complete the administrator's authorization. The encryption key and application secret are kept in separate server-side secret storage. Short-lived access credentials are used in server memory and are not included in reports, exports or application logs.

The research connector does not submit lead contact details, inquiry text, client evidence or call recordings to Google as keyword inputs. It does not obtain individual visitors' organic search queries or browsing histories.

Use and access

GDF uses these records for internal advertising preparation, service-demand research, website improvement and collection auditing. Private reports are available to authorized GDF users. Cloudflare processes application hosting and storage, and Google processes the authorized API requests. GDF staff may review research findings using approved business analysis tools. This notice does not authorize unrelated uses of Google account data.

Retention and disconnecting

Once collected, saved research snapshots and collection receipts remain available for business review and audit until an administrator removal is separately reviewed and carried out. The initial connector does not automatically delete these historical records.

Disconnecting the application removes its locally stored refresh credential, invalidates pending authorization flows and prevents further collections under that connection. It does not delete saved research or every sign-in audit record, or revoke permissions directly at Google. The account holder can separately remove the application's access through Google Account connections.

Website measurement and other Google connections

This connector does not add analytics or advertising code to GDF's websites, enable personalized advertising, link Google Analytics or Search Console to Google Ads, or alter the separate Google reporting connection. Those changes require their own review.
