The product

What Forensic Media Analyzer does

A detector score is not an expert opinion. Forensic Media Analyzer gives the examiner a workbench for reviewing file structure, metadata, frames, signals and results from several detection methods in one case record.

The software can run local AI models for sensitive or disconnected work and can use approved cloud or custom models when the engagement permits it. Results are presented to the analyst for comparison and interpretation. The software does not issue an automated verdict.

  • Image examination

Review metadata, compression behavior, error levels, clone or copy-move indicators and other image-level evidence.

  • Video examination

Inspect frames, timing, encoding and temporal consistency for signs of editing, synthesis or recompression.

  • Audio examination

Review spectral, timing, encoding and signal characteristics that may identify edits or generated speech.

  • Local model execution

Run supported models locally when evidence cannot be sent to an external service.

  • Optional model connections

Use approved frontier or custom models as an additional source of analysis, subject to the evidence-handling plan.

  • Analyst workbench and reports

Compare results, annotate evidence and assemble a documented report that keeps the examiner's reasoning visible.

Methodology

Typical workflow

  1. Import

Add the highest-fidelity available media and begin the evidence record with hash verification.

  2. Examine

Select the technical, signal and model-assisted tests appropriate to the file and the disputed proposition.

  3. Interpret

Compare results, inspect inconsistencies and test ordinary processing explanations before reaching an opinion.

  4. Report

Document the methods, observations, limits and analyst conclusion with supporting images and technical output.

Operating note

Compatibility and limits

No single module proves authenticity or manipulation. A qualified analyst evaluates the file, provenance, case context and competing explanations before stating a conclusion.
